Any time spent on preparation or post-mediation is billed at the same hourly rate. For clarity, a “party” is defined as all parties who are represented by the same counsel. ## CANCELLATION POLICY To avoid the minimum fee, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made in writing no later than 5:00 PM EST, eight days prior to the mediation date. Cancellations or rescheduling requests received after this time will result in the minimum fee being charged, with the cost equally divided among all parties. ## BILLING MATTERS All fees are calculated based on the hourly rates above, and all invoices are due upon receipt. After the mediation concludes, each party will be billed for their portion of the fee, unless the parties agree otherwise. Payments must be made in accordance with the payment instructions on the invoice. ## Travel Charges There is no charge for travel time to mediations held in Marion, Alachua, Columbia, Levy, Putnam, or Suwannee counties.
